It has been hitting home lately that we are setting out on our Great Loop adventure in just two and a half weeks. We are working hard at the warehouse organizing our belongings so that everything will fit when we move out of the apartment and hit the road.

For the last few months, we have been measuring, arranging, and rearranging the contents of the boat; trying to use our space as efficiently as possible. It's a small space and we have felt quite proud of our efforts to make it feel like we have all we need without clutter or crowding.

This weekend, we shifted our attention to the warehouse where all our other belongings will be. We assembled some industrial pallet racks on Saturday, and started filling it Sunday. If anyone is wondering, when you stand up into the steel cross bars, it is LOUD and it HURTS! I only saw stars for a few seconds, honest.

This morning, Jack made reservations for our first marina stay on the loop. It felt like a huge step to me! I visited their website, and honestly, the palm trees, and sunshine made me giddy.
